Ship: a study in revolution. |
(DangerShip!)
chashama presents a new work by
Alec Duffy and Ensemble
Monday, March 7
7 pm - First Guided Tour
8:45 pm - Second Guided Tour
Please join us for an intimate tour through the creation of the newest
musico-theatrical work of Alec Duffy and ensemble, set on a cruise
ship! The ensemble has transformed an old garment shop in the Fashion
District into a living, working cruise spectacle, where the Ukrainian
laundry women working in the belly of the beast revolt and take over
the ship.
WIth sharp heads, the ensemble attempts to attack the attic-old
question: Once the revolution succeeds, then what?
Places on the tour are extremely limited; please RSVP as soon as
possible:

River Heights Productions is proud to be presenting their next
production, Catholic School Girls, by Casey Kurtti, a sweet and comedic
story of four childhood friends growing up catholic in the 1960’s.
RHP’s mission is to bring a new kind of theatre to audiences. We call
it “Retro Theatre” – plays that exemplify how the values and milestones
of a time period impact the way we live our lives today. When the
lessons of history are ignored, one is destined to repeat them...badly.
Tickets are $15, cash only at the door.
Check back at www.riverheightsproductions.com for more info about
online ordering.
