OASIS is chashama's annual festival of free performance featuring established and up-and-coming artists who can showcase their work to audiences who might not otherwise be exposed to art in a casual setting in midtown. With the performances happening on the street-level window stage, audiences can enjoy the action from the indoor seats or from the sidewalk.

This is chashama's second year presenting Site-Specific Sundays as part of Summer on the Hudson, presented through the City of New York's Parks and Recreation Department. (www.nycparks.gov).
 
Summer on the Hudson is a free summer-long arts festival that presents a diverse mix of music concerts, dance performances, movies under the stars, DJ dance parties, family programs, special events, and wellness activities.

On the evening of July 14, we will host a launch party for our September show The Australia Project II: Australia Strikes Back, which features new plays from some of Australia's most celebrated playwrights, including Van Badham, Alexandra Collier, Brendan Cowell, Anthony Crowley, Ben Ellis, Wesley Enoch, Veronica Gleeson, Lally Katz, Ross Mueller, Tommy Murphy, Emma Vuletic and Tom Wright.
