present Show continues July 20th ? 22nd Ysrael A. Seinuk, P.C., in association with chashama, is pleased to present a juried exhibition of emerging artist works curated by Sue Ferguson Gussow, a renowned painter and professor at the Cooper Union School of Architecture. The engineering firm of Ysrael A. Seinuk, P.C. (YAS) is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary of design excellence. Ysrael A. Seinuk, founder of YAS, has been recognized for his many innovations in the field of structural engineering. In August of 2005, Time Magazine named him one of ?The 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America?. The firm has designed structures for many celebrated national and international building projects. YAS has a tradition of support for the visual arts, this being its fourth sponsored exhibit. Past exhibits have sponsored prominent artists in solo or group exhibitions. The current show, a collaborative effort with chashama, celebrates the creative spirit of emerging artists from New York City and other places around the country. Pieces were chosen by competition from an extensive array of submissions. The juried selection includes paintings, drawings, mixed media and sculpture using classical materials as well as some very unexpected and playful elements. Although all of the artists are ?emerging? talents, they represent a variety of generations, demonstrating that the depth, exuberance and enthusiasm reflected in their work is clearly timeless.
