chashama North: Space to Create in the Hudson Valley
Set in the bucolic Hudson Valley, chashama North provides space to create for visual and performing artists in Pine Plains, New York.
Spruce Farm, space for Visual Artists: Including a 19th Century Farmhouse and 3 small apartments, Spruce Farm can accommodate 7 artists with private bedrooms and studio space.
Carvel House, space for theater groups, collaboratives and writers: located in the Thomas Carvel Country Club. 3 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. Open living room / dining room / kitchen. Basement den. Beautiful sunset views over the country club golf course.
Residency Information: Residencies are available for durations of one to five weeks from June 2 – September 3, 2007. Residencies are scheduled Sunday through Saturday.
Artists must supply transportation, materials, food and bedding.
Studio sizes vary. Studio placement will be determined by length of stay and creative needs.
