B.A.T. (Brooklyn Army Terminal) Studio Residency
Deadline: Friday, June 1st, 2007, 5pm
A Little Information About the Studios:
*The Studio Program is for visual artists who wish to have a space in which to create new artworks. The studios are non-live, non-smoking spaces, and are not open to the public (except for during special Open Studio Events).
Currently we are accepting applications for our new Brooklyn Army Terminal location:
B.A.T. Studios—located on the Brooklyn waterfront in Sunset Park. B.A.T. is a 97-acre complex between 58th and 63rd Streets. The entire complex totals an impressive 3.1 million square feet and houses an assortment of light manufacturing & distribution businesses. chashama & our resident artists will be moving into Building A, Space J, (a small portion of the entire space).
Timeline & Conditions:
Deadline: Friday, June 1st, 2007, 5pm
Applications may be dropped off at chashama offices Monday to Friday 11:30 am -- 5:00 pm. Applications must arrive (not postmarked) at the chashama office by Friday, June 1st, 5:00 pm. You may mail or hand-deliver your application to the office.
MAIL OR DELIVER COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TO:

Note: chashama no longer returns submitted materials.
*Incomplete applications will not be reviewed
*Faxed or emailed applications will not be considered.

Artists will be notified by Friday, June 22nd, 2007.

*Studio areas are approximately 17.5' x 17.5'
*This complex has been recently renovated
*All spaces have been portioned with 8' walls
*Studio Fees will be $200-$250 per month
