ASSOCIATE FOR INDIVIDUAL GIVING
chashama, a not-for-profit arts organization that transforms temporarily
vacant real estate into space for artists, seeks a part-time Associate for
Individual Giving. The Associate will work with chashama¹s Artistic Director
and Director of Development to cultivate relationships with individual
donors.
The Associate will research potential supporters, arrange meetings and tours
of chashama¹s spaces, and work with the Artistic Director to further engage
chashama¹s current supporters. Part of the Associate¹s duties will be to
work with our Director of Development on our fall Gala, which happens each
November, and on a new spring cultivation event for young people and
artists.
Candidates should have a strong background in not-for-profit fundraising,
donor or investor cultivation, or arts administration. Candidates should
possess excellent writing skills and should be good with people. Position is
half time (20 hours per week) with competitive not-for-profit salary and
